On Life...

Life is a long time...
When you aren't being held in the arms that
you want to be held in.

Why Thank you edge :) I guess pain inspires my writing, although I'm not sure if one could get away with calling heart-break an inspirational exercise ?

I think you can get away with calling heart-break an inspirational exercise.... we should however worry more about what it inspires us to do ie. do we get all psychotic or do we learn from it.

When it comes to pain it brings out these emotions that we never knew we had. Expressing that pain through words is sometimes the only way to soothe it.

Ideally I would do something more drastic with the new found emotion , like bungy or fly a plane, either way - heart-break is a great teacher , for one it teaches you that tear are in endless supply :P

Hi desert demons, Your pain is inspiring great beauty again. "Pain is beauty, beauty is pain That's all you need to know." Yes, I agree. An eternity in the arms of the person you want to be held by is only a moment. The moment that you remember being held by the person you wanted to be held by inspires eternal pain. Sounds convoluted but it is so simple. The person you crave to be with is not with you. The lottery of life is much worse than a normal lottery. In a normal lottery a winner takes all and the losers only lose the cost of their investment. In the lottery of life and the lottery of love the loser loses the beloved and loses hope and loses happiness. Slightly unfair.

hey Elk seeing you back always makes me smile :) yep I like your lottery analogy - sometimes you lose alot more than you thought possible.
